Restaurants dominated social media conversations last year, with Starbucks, Burger King and McDonald’s each generating more than 2 million comments, according to research from PQ Media/uberVU. The report also found that the top three categories — restaurants, beverages and consumer technology — generated 70% of the social media conversations in 2012.
