PowaTag is changing the way we shop. Comptoir des Cotonniers launches 10,000 boutiques overnight in worldwide showcase of game-changing PowaTag technology
It is the first true merger of online and offline retailing uses the revolutionary PowaTap mobile app to create buying freedom, say the innovators.
Leading French fashion retailer Comptoir des Cotonniers introduced its revolutionary “Fast Shopping” concept recently as it launched over 10,000 virtual boutiques around the streets of major cities in France, including Paris, Toulouse and Marseille, powered by the innovative new retail app PowaTag.
The new PowaTag technology is set to transform the way consumers shop and engage with retailers. Shoppers can use PowaTag to scan special tags and buy the latest fashions from Comptoir des Cotonniers anytime, anywhere in single click. After an initial three-minute set up time, purchases can be completed in seconds, with home delivery within 48 hours.
Comptoir des Cotonniers, part of the one of the world’s fastest growing retail groups, Fast Retailing, worked with partners including leading outdoor advertising specialist JCDecaux, telecom company SFR Régie, transport app provider Uber, and advertising agency Marcel to create the boutiques overnight, which take the form of everything from posters and bus stops to transports, coffe tables, notebooks and tote bags.
The Fast Shopping campaign launched this morning by transforming the Publicis Drugstore at Champs Elysées in Paris into a boutique. Powa Tachnologies, who developed PowaTag, decided to host more than 100 representatives from partners and international press taking part in a walking tour of the virtual boutiques in the streets, before gathering for a launch event at the Intercontinental Paris.
Nancy Pedot, CEO of Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse tam.tam, comments: “As a leading fashion retailer, this is exactly the kind of innovation that we look for at Comptoir des Cotonniers utilizing technology to better meet the needs of our customers.
