Registration for New England’s Top Social Enterprise Conference is Now Open
Conference to focus on building a social enterprise ecosystem that fosters economic development
Registration for the Social Enterprise Ecosystem for Economic Development (SEEED) Summit is now available online. The SEEED Summit will convene 500+ social ventures, practitioners, impact investors, students, policymakers, and other social enterprise stakeholders April 25 and 26 at Brown University in Providence.
Jim Gibbons, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International, Dennis Whittle, co-founder of Global Giving, Robert Kaplan, co-chairman of Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Jeffrey Hollender, co-founder of Seventh Generation, Doug Borchard, managing director of New Profit, Gar Alperovitz, co-founder of The Democracy Collaborative and professor of political economy at the University of Maryland, and Ira Magaziner, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Clinton Health Access Initiative will headline as keynote speakers for the two-day conference. SEEED Conference Highlights
Attendees will also have an opportunity to participate in peer learning conversations, how-to panels, and industry best practice workshops. Other conference highlights include a chance to shop for social enterprise goods at the Buy with Heart marketplace, receive one-on-one business coaching from successful entrepreneurs, and attend an evening social event at iconic Providence social enterprise The Steel Yard.
