Calling all small business retailers! Learn about the value and importance of signage in your stores. SmartSign announces a partnership with Retail Minded for the Independent Retailer Conference in New York City. While SmartSign has always been a leader in safety and security, this will be the company’s first time committing its support to the independent retail community. An independent e-commerce sign retailer, SmartSign brings fifteen years of experience and expertise to Retail Minded’s conference.
“Signage is such an important part of any retailer’s store and overall brand communication, and we’re thrilled to welcome SmartSign to our 2014 Independent Retailer Conference, and help attendees better understand the value of signage to their unique stores,” said Nicole Reyhle, founder and publisher of Retail Minded. “Additionally, we’re big fans of SmartSign’s broad range of options for both service and product-based retailers, and look forward to using some of their signage options at the Independent Retailer Conference.”
The conference will be held on April 14, 2014 in New York City’s Scholastic Auditorium, where attendees will be introduced to new retail uses of signage and learn innovative tactics to personalize every aspect of their customer experience. SmartSign will donate sidewalk signs and static cling stickers to the New York City-based conference. SmartSign’s Outreach Manager, Alex Roitman, will also speak on signs’ importance and their impact on independent businesses.
The Independent Retailer Conference site describes the event as “the nation’s only retail conference dedicated entirely to the unique lifestyle and responsibilities of indie store owners.” The conference will place special emphasis on in-store and e-commerce operational insight.
Blair Brewster, CEO of SmartSign, said, “As an e-commerce company, we know how important branding and marketing can be to small businesses. We’re excited to lend our knowledge of signage and e-commerce to the attendees of The Independent Retailer conference.”
