Celebs, Bravo-lebrities, rappers and models are all cashing in with their own “lifestyle brand.”
According to Dr. Tom Guarriello of Truetalk Consulting, “A lifestyle brand is a variety of objects that are surrounding a particular cultural way of living a modern life. Nike is not a lifestyle brand, although the ‘just do it’ mentality can be seen as one. But you wouldn’t buy a Nike sofa.”
Widely credited with having invented the lifestyle category is Martha Stewart. Martha might never be unseated from her lifestyle guru status, but there are plenty of followers stepping into the fray:

Suzanne Sommers, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessical Alba and Jaclyn Smith all have lifestyle lines as do Cindy Crawford, Kathy Ireland and Heidi Klum. Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel is building her empire and singers Christina Aguilera, 50 Cent and Sean Combs are in the pack.
