Veterans Get Help With Small Business Loan Program

New York State is helping  Veterans who now own small businesses.

Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli just announced a loan to 5th Avenue Chocolatiere, a chocolate distributor owned by an Iraq war veteran.

The money comes from a $4 million small business loan program for veterans. DiNapoli says the money could help new long-running family businesses or brand-new up-starts.

Veterans can receive up to $150 million in small business loans.
