KFC, Taco Bell To Grow to 20,000 Units In Emerging Markets

Yum! Brands and its franchise partners will invest $10 billion in the next seven years to build its presence in seven emerging markets including India, China, Africa and Brazil to more than 20,000 restaurants, said CEO David Novak. In India, the parent of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut expects sales to hit $1 billion by 2015. “We’re on the ground floor of global growth in a lot of countries, particularly the emerging markets,” Novak said.
