Gov’t. Shutdown Costs $13 Million Per Day In Small Business Lending

The government shutdown is keeping $13 million per day in loan money from small-business borrowers, according to Beth Solomon, president of the National Association of Development Companies. “Loans are like oxygen in the economy, and we’re asphyxiating the economy with lack of capital,” she said.
