McAlister’s Deli, a leading fast casual restaurant, announced a same-store sales increase of 5 percent during the first quarter of 2013. This marks the 11th straight quarter of positive sales growth. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entrée sales, indicating overall traffic gains for McAlister’s restaurants system-wide.

In addition to reporting comparable sales growth, McAlister’s announced the opening of four new restaurants in the first quarter and is expected to open 11 additional restaurants this year.
