Digital Royalty moved its headquarters to downtown Las Vegas to be a part of the Las Vegas Downtown Revitalization Project led by Tony Hsiech, CEO of Zappos.com. Tony, who believes that is you can fix a city, you can fix the world, has privately funded $350 million to aid the revitalization. The Downtown Project is dedicated to transforming downtown Las Vegas into the largest community-focused city in the world.
Through the VegasTech fund, the funding is allocated across five areas: $100 million for real estate, $100 million for residential, $50 million for small businesses, $50 million for education and $50 million for startups.
Typically a project of this magnitude would take more than 15 years, but the Downtown Project is committed to completing the project in less than 5 years.
