Togo’s Eateries, Inc., a “West Coast Original” since 1971, announced the opening of its latest Eugene restaurant located next to Fred Meyer at 3215 West 11th Street. The new restaurant is owned by local resident and current Togo’s franchisee, John Anderson, who operates another Togo’s restaurant located at 954 Pearl Street.

The local community is invited to attend the official Grand Opening celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. celebrations at Anderson’s two Eugene restaurants on Saturday, Mar. 16, in which Togo’s will donate 80 percent of the day’s sales to eight local high schools in the Eugene/Springfield area.

“I am very thankful to our loyal customers for making Togo’s a welcome addition to the community, and am thrilled to be opening our second restaurant,” said John Anderson, Togo’s franchisee. “As a Eugene native, I am proud to be part of such a dynamic brand that gives back. I hope that local residents will come out to support this great cause for our schools and enjoy our seriously-stacked sandwiches.”

The new location is now serving guests daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for more information on the new Eugene Togo’s, call (541) 868-2892 or visit http://www.togos.com.

Recently, Togo’s marked its 40th anniversary with more than 250 locations open on the west coast of the United States. Even with this latest opening, Togo’s is still seeking to reach 400 new locations in California and other key markets such as Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington by 2015.

With 10 consecutive quarters of positive same-store-sales increases, Togo’s is one of the best franchise opportunities in the sandwich category. To fuel future growth, Togo’s is actively recruiting passionate franchisees to bring its high-quality, fresh sandwiches to new western markets. Interested entrepreneurs can visit http://www.togosfranchise.com
