The News Funnel, a free website that enables real estate professionals to create a customized news feed based on their unique preferences, has announced that 25 more companies have signed up for the site. In total, 279 companies are now distributing their content directly through the site, along with thousands of news feeds from the media.
Since launching in the real estate industry in mid-2012, The News Funnel has grown its subscriber base to several thousand professionals in a total of six states. These users, who are using the site to customize their business news from a comprehensive list of sources, are able to set their preferences to follow companies profiled on the site and therefore receive all of the news about companies of interest.
“Real estate companies love The News Funnel because it not only gives them a direct distribution portal, but allows them to build followers in their particular industry segment,” said Michael Beckerman, founder and CEO of The News Funnel. “It’s a completely new way for companies to engage their target audiences in vertical specific industries.”
The News Funnel features Company News Channels (CNCs) — web pages that are available at no charge to companies to upload press releases, event notifications, blogs and market research reports that are then distributed into the funnels of subscribers. The website also features simple and advanced search capabilities. Aggregated content is stored for six months and users can search this content by keyword, market, industry segment or area of interest. For more information visit www.thenewsfunnel.com.
