FreeBike Project, a start-up company run by two Danish USC students, is launching a project that sets out to change the way we perceive marketing by introducing “Marketing with a Heart”.
On January 22nd and 24th FreeBike Project gave away 100 bikes on USC. The bikes are branded by local businesses and serve as an innovative and eco-friendly way for sponsors to market on college campuses. Furthermore, for every sponsored bike FreeBike Project donates another bike overseas to a child in need.
With $13 B being spent annually on college marketing, FreeBike Project hopes to channel a portion of the money into a greener and mutually beneficial way for companies to reach their target audience. Students at USC were very excited about the project and many signed up to be part of the first generation FreeBiker Fleet.
