A customer comes into your shop or fills out your website information form and requests a lower price. Should you do it? Not without getting a benefit in return. Sure times have been tough and customers expect to get the world, but some negotiation must take place. You can offer a lower price if they pay in cash, you get a future order, you diminish the service somewhat–cheaper packaging, no customer support, etc. Make the customer feel they got what they wanted, and you , in turn, are delivering a bit less, or will expect more orders in the future. It could be a win-win.
