[ 0 ] Nov. 26, 2012 | SBO Editor

Computer-Tech Whiz & Entrepreneur, Ron Gustavson, The Medfield Computer Guy, is helping a community cause by participating in a project to fundraise for the Lowell Mason House, the Birthplace of the Father of American Music Education in Medfield, Massachusetts.

The Lowell Mason Foundation exists to attract funding and to preserve, restore, and promote Lowell Mason’s birthplace as a significant historical and educational resource. In honoring this 17th century landmark, the Foundation seeks to educate people of all ages as to Lowell Mason’s predominant role in American music and to deliver cultural programs to the community combining the house’s architectural history and his legacy as a pivotal leader in American religious and public school music.

Ron wants you to support history and save money. Donate $50 or more and receive the Lowell Mason Card giving you access to discounts at merchants throughout the area. Buy the card to support the cause and Ron will offer one hour of service free ($65 value) to tackle your computer issues.

As Ron writes on his website, “Support the birthplace of the Father of American Music Education, and get one hour of free service from Medfield Computer Guy. Support a worthy local historic preservation effort, while cleaning up your computer, getting a hard drive diagnostic, or migrating your data to a new machine (Windows or Mac.)”
